# Mantle AI

> Ask about Mantle, read the supporting guides, and get help with the page you are using.

Mantle AI helps you understand Mantle and work with the page you have open. Sign in, then open the assistant from the
button in the bottom-right corner, or press **⌘J** on Mac / **Ctrl+J** on Windows and Linux.

## Ask how something works

Ask in your own words:

* “What is the difference between a chat and a channel?”
* “How do I create an agent?”
* “Can a task run every Monday?”
* “How do workspace permissions work?”
* “How do I connect Linear?”

Mantle AI looks up relevant public documentation for product questions. Open the links under **Sources** to read the
guides behind an answer. Follow-up questions can refer to the feature you were discussing.

If the guides do not cover your question, or the documentation cannot be checked, Mantle AI will tell you. You can ask a
more specific question or use [Help & Resources](/help-resources).

## Get help on the current page

Mantle AI can offer a button to open a relevant page, such as Agents or Tasks. Click the button when you are ready.
Asking how a feature works does not apply changes to your workspace.

You can also ask for help with supported page actions, such as preparing text for a composer or filling in a Task.
Review proposed changes before applying them. Filling in a new Task does not create or run it; check the form and select
**Create Task** to save it.

## Access and usage

Mantle AI requires sign-in and uses your applicable AI credits. Documentation explains product behavior; it does not
give the assistant access to private content or establish your personal permissions.

Documentation source links stay with answers in Mantle AI's saved conversation history in this browser. To remove a
conversation, open history and select its **Remove chat** button.
