Create a canvas
Select the + beside the workspace selector and choose New Canvas. Mantle opens a blank canvas; replace its name with one that will make sense in search results later. You can also open the actions on a useful message and create a canvas from that message. This is helpful when a chat or channel answer has grown into a plan or document. You can use headings, lists, tables, links, images, quotes, and code blocks to make the document easy to scan.Edit together
Workspace members can edit a canvas together and see updates as they happen. Keep the current decision in the document and use a nearby channel or thread for the discussion that led to it. Mantle saves your changes as you work. Use Version history in the canvas header to review earlier versions when you need to understand or restore a change.Add a canvas to AI knowledge
A workspace canvas is not automatically used as background for every AI answer. To make it part of workspace knowledge, go to Workspace settings → Context and add the canvas. You can also give a specific agent access to selected canvases. This is often better when the information is useful for one job but not for every conversation.Share a canvas outside Mantle
Workspace owners and admins can publish a canvas and copy its public link. The public page is for viewing; people with the link do not become workspace members or editors. Review the entire canvas before publishing it. Use Unpublish when the link should stop working. You can also manage published canvases from Settings → Shared links.Workspace knowledge
Let AI use selected canvases, files, and instructions.
