Triggers

Automated triggers for Jira are not yet available. Triggers will be added in a future update — check back soon.

Example use cases

Someone describes a bug in chat. Instead of switching to Jira, ask your agent to create a Bug issue with the right project, priority, and description — it fills in the details from the conversation context.
An agent runs a JQL query each morning to find issues that changed status yesterday, groups them by assignee, and posts a standup summary to your team channel.
Ask your agent “How is the current sprint going?” and it lists the board’s active sprint, counts issues by status, and highlights anything blocked or overdue.

Troubleshooting

Make sure you are signing in with an Atlassian account that has access to the Jira instance you want to connect. If the connection fails, try disconnecting and reconnecting from Settings → Integrations → Jira.
The connected account must have permission to view the project in Jira. Check your Jira project permissions and ensure the authenticating user has at least browse access.
Verify your JQL syntax is correct. Use the agent to help construct JQL queries — it can translate natural language like “show me open bugs assigned to me” into valid JQL.
Not all transitions are available from every status. Use the “Get transitions” tool to see which transitions are valid for the issue’s current state.
