Example use cases
Create a bug report from a chat message
Create a bug report from a chat message
Someone describes a bug in chat. Instead of switching to Jira, ask your agent to create a Bug issue with the right
project, priority, and description — it fills in the details from the conversation context.
Daily standup summary
Daily standup summary
An agent runs a JQL query each morning to find issues that changed status yesterday, groups them by assignee, and
posts a standup summary to your team channel.
Sprint progress check
Sprint progress check
Ask your agent “How is the current sprint going?” and it lists the board’s active sprint, counts issues by status,
and highlights anything blocked or overdue.
Troubleshooting
OAuth connection failed
OAuth connection failed
Make sure you are signing in with an Atlassian account that has access to the Jira instance you want to connect. If
the connection fails, try disconnecting and reconnecting from Settings → Integrations → Jira.
Agent can't find my project
Agent can't find my project
The connected account must have permission to view the project in Jira. Check your Jira project permissions and
ensure the authenticating user has at least browse access.
JQL search returns no results
JQL search returns no results
Verify your JQL syntax is correct. Use the agent to help construct JQL queries — it can translate natural language
like “show me open bugs assigned to me” into valid JQL.
Issue transitions fail
Issue transitions fail
Not all transitions are available from every status. Use the “Get transitions” tool to see which transitions are
valid for the issue’s current state.
