Connect Tavily

Open Settings → Integrations

In any workspace go to Settings → Integrations and select Tavily.

Get your API key

Sign up or log in at tavily.com, go to your dashboard, and copy your API key.

Paste and connect

Paste the key into the API Key field and click Connect.

Add Tavily tools to agents that need them. Their access is limited by the connected key and selected tools.

Example use cases

Ask your agent any factual question and it uses Tavily’s Q&A search to find and return a direct answer from the web — grounded in real sources rather than relying solely on training data.
Ask “Research the latest developments in edge computing” and the agent runs an advanced search, extracts content from the top results, and synthesizes a comprehensive summary.
Share a URL in chat and ask your agent to extract the full content. It pulls the article text, metadata, and key points — ready for summarization, translation, or further analysis.

Troubleshooting

Verify the key was copied from your Tavily dashboard at tavily.com and your account is active. Generate a fresh key if the current one doesn’t work.
Try refining your query with more specific terms. Tavily works best with clear, well-formed questions rather than single keywords. Use the advanced search for more comprehensive results.
Some websites block automated access or require authentication. Tavily can only extract content from publicly accessible pages. Try a different source URL if extraction fails.
Check your remaining credits with “Get usage”. Tavily has monthly usage limits based on your plan. Upgrade at tavily.com if you need more capacity.
