Notifications collect activity that may need your attention. Select the bell in the left rail or press Command + Shift + M on Mac or Ctrl + Shift + M on Windows and Linux.

Use the notification views

Select a notification to open its message, conversation, canvas, or workspace. Related activity may be grouped so you can scan it without reading many repeated items. Use Mark all as read after you have reviewed the list. Clearing a notification removes it from the feed; it does not delete the original message or event.

Desktop notifications

Your browser or the macOS app can show system notifications when Mantle is not in front. Allow notifications when your device asks, then review notification preferences in Settings → Preferences. If notifications do not appear:
  1. check Mantle’s notification preferences;
  2. check the browser or macOS permission for Mantle;
  3. make sure Focus or Do Not Disturb is not hiding them;
  4. use the notification test in settings when available.

Reduce noise

  • Use threads so replies stay connected to the right topic.
  • Mention a person only when their attention is needed.
  • Tune preferences instead of ignoring the whole inbox.
  • Keep automation results in a channel made for those updates.
Treat Mentions and Threads as your action list, then scan Updates for automation failures or connected-app events.
